Qualification You Will Achieve
Level 1 City and Guilds Employability Skills Diploma
You will work towards a pass in GCSE Maths and English or a functional skills qualification.
Connect Aims To...
To gain skills and build on knowledge that is needed for further education or future employment
You will gain a qualification that is recognised by employers and will also look good on your CV.

Costs:

You will Receive £10 a week for full attendance .

Your child benefit will continue and you may be eligible to receive a bursary to help you with lunch costs and bus fare, depending on your circumstances .

You will become a full time college student and you will be entitled to all the benefits of being a student, including an ID Card.
Entry Requirements:

You must be 16 to 18 years of age

You must not be taking part in any other full-time form of training or education

Qualifications are not required for entry to the programme
Learner Support:

Each student will have regular support/review meetings with a named member of staff

either on a 1:1 basis or in small groups

Opportunities for Work Related Learning and Work
If you have passed your GCSE's in Maths and English you will be offered a work placement. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience and build on skills that are needed for employment

Only 3 days a week.
